I was recently invited by a good friend of mine to a Brazilian place in Aventura called, Vita Brazilian Açaí to try some Acai Bowl. Of course, as soon as I tried it, I fell completely in love with its delicious sweetness and very refreshing taste, but better than this was to know about all of its amazing health benefits and its antioxidant properties, that are just innumerous. So I had to dig in and come up with at least a list of 10 reasons why you should add this delicious fruit to your diet. Below, there are 10 healthy benefits of acai Berries.

1. Promotes Heart Health

Acai berries are rich in plant sterols that provide cardio-protective benefits, including supporting circulation, improving overall blood composition, and relaxing the blood vessels.

2. Aids Weight Loss

Known by nutritionists as a superfood, acai may help us not only Lose Weight but maintain a healthy weight. One interesting study found that pulp from the acai berry had the ability to reduce fat deposits in study participants.

3. Promotes Skin Health

Currently, many beauty products contain acai oil because of the oil’s high antioxidant content. When eaten, the berries provide nutrition that can give your skin a healthy glow.
